Christmas 2009
Dec 26th, 2009 by Deb
Well, here we are, the day after Christmas. Things here are moving at a much slower pace today. We had a lovely and very full day yesterday. We managed to convince Dennis to get up at 7am yesterday morning! I know, I couldn’t quite believe it either.
In fact he even made a lovely breakfast of French toast and bacon for all of us.
Later on in the morning, the house filled with family. An abundance of laughter and presents ensued.
There was a bit of downtime. We needed to recharge batteries before the big turkey dinner.
After dinner we had some music. Mike and I played cello. Katie played piano. We love doing this every year. I’m not sure if we have more fun playing or if the rest of the family has more fun listening.
Lucky spent the day looking regal – as only Lucky can do.
Rosco kept an eye on his rubber chicken and pestered people for love and attention.
In all – a very good day. Thanks to all who shared it with us.

Merry Christmas to you and your family!
I would have loved to hear the after dinner music – sounds very nice
